For over 35 years, we've been making handcrafted artisanal ice cream in Toronto that have been featured in our über famous Demetres desserts.

Scooped By Demetres is our ice cream-only boutique where ice cream takes center stage. Featuring a cast of unique, innovative, and decadent flavours, each is masterfully fine-tuned by our fabulous pastry chefs. 

Since day one (back in 1989!), we’ve been using an ultra-rich, high-cream, secret-recipe ice cream base in all of our ice creams. It’s what gives each bite such richness and decadence.

Over the years, we’ve meticulously sourced the best ingredients from around the world - Belgian and French chocolates, Indonesian Vanillas, Spanish and Italian Hazelnuts, Californian Strawberries, Mexican Cajetas; the list goes on.

Every single ice cream and inclusion is made in our own bakery in Woodbridge, where our team of talented pastry chefs scratch-makes all of our ice creams (and brownies, and caramels, and pecan brittles, and so much more) day in and day out.  

We are creating ice cream unlike anything else you’ve had before, and we’re excited to have you give it a try.
