About Us
Our mom and pop shop first opened in Brampton in 1998,
as Bamboo Garden. We started off serving our native cuisine of Vietnamese with a small offering of Thai food. The brand successfully served the community for more than 4 years.
Continuing on our food journey, our family traveled to Thailand and fell in love with the cuisine so much we wanted to bring it back to Canada. We studied and trained personally with local Thai Chefs and curated a menu of our top dishes and popular fan favourites.
In 2004 we first opened Bamboo Legend in Mississauga,
followed with our sister branch in Oakville in 2008.
In 2019 our Thai Street Eatery opened in Toronto known as Phat Kaphrao. The namesake name pays homage to a popular street dish translated as "Holy Basil." With fresh flavours and changing specials our eatery offers street style Thai food that we believe to be like the food from street vendors in Thailand.
