With over 40 years in the restaurant business and 30+years as a Pizzaiolo; Romolo Known as the “Grand Master “ of the Margherita Pizza, finally opened up his place in January 2012. The restaurants specializes in Neopolitan style pizza, however, they do offer house made pastas; paninos; antipasti and dessert! They have become recognized as one of the top eateries in Toronto. They have topped the charts for number one pizza, ranked on Joanne Kate’s top 100 restaurants , won Best in Chow’s hit show “Pizza Wars” , as well been featured on the Food Networks “You Gotta Eat Here! Pizzeria Via Mercanti were awarded BEST PIZZA IN ONTARIO from ICCO Unico Primo Pentola D'oro Awards 2018
