In 1981, inspired by the legendary fries that had been a staple of our childhood vacations, Dave and Fran DiFerdinando, the founders of Boardwalk dreamed of bringing the unmistakable taste of Boardwalk fries—a taste synonymous with summer and joy—to people everywhere around the country and not just those along the beach. We still prepare fries in the same great way – a special recipe and lightly salted – piping hot and made to order.
But our story doesn’t end with fries. As the word spread, and people wanted more, we introduced fresh, always made-to-order, fresh hand-made burgers, creamy shakes made with premium Canadian dairy and a host of other mouth-watering options.
