About Us
Riverside is our second shop, tucked away on Boulton Avenue in Toronto's east-end.
During the day the sun floods in through the cafe windows, filling the twenty-feet between the floor and ceiling with natural light. At night Riverside becomes a cozy-industrial bar offering world-class natural wines, craft beers, and whiskies; it's the perfect reprieve from the bustling Queen Street strip.
We’re thrilled to have reintroduced this remarkable space—once a library, and then a furniture store—to this vibrant neighbourhood.

Boxcar Social is a multi-roaster cafe & bar with an uncompromising dedication to quality.
In 2014, we opened our first Boxcar Social location with two programs under the same old victorian roof: coffee and alcohol, as categorically disparate as night and day.
Boxcar Social started with the conviction that the fields of coffee and wine are more similar than we think, and we've spent every year since then trying to find the most interesting and flavourful products in each category.
We're happy to have you.
