POPpadum was started by Shreyas Nawkar in Dec 2020. A professional Red Seal Certified chef with over a decade of experience in the Canadian restaurant industry, he found himself laid off during the pandemic. With time on his hands, he set out to bring his beloved Indian food out of the shadows of cheap takeout and celebrate it for it's fun, range, techniques and vibrancy.
